Peachtree Santas of Georgia, Inc. is an organization comprised of Santas, Mrs.Clauses, Elves, & other individuals who portray &/or support Christmas characters in the Community.
The mission of Peachtree Santas of Georgia is to provide Educational opportunities to develop and improve the member’s art of portraying Christmas characters, and for Charitable purposes by demonstrating the “Spirit of Christmas,” which is the spirit of giving. We show the Spirit of Christmas through fund raising activities, charitable donations of goods & needed items and distribution of its income to other qualifying 501(c)3 organizations selected by its members to support.
Peachtree Santas of Georgia, inc. voted to adopt the following charities, assisting both monetarily & by the generous personal donation of time by our members as needed for each of the Charities chosen: Calvary Children's Home, The Anna Crawford Foundation, & 104.7 The Fish Christmas Wish. Our Photo Gallery displays just some of the work done by our members for these Charities, as well as some photos from our Membership Drive Lake Event in 2019. In 2021, once again Calvary Children's Home was voted by the members to receive our financial assistance and partnership in meeting any of their additional needs for the next two years. Please see the Calvary Children's Home website for more information about the wonderful work they do, or to help them, by a donation at their site. OUR FIRST IN-PERSON LUNCH SINCE THE ONSET OF COVID
Good time, Good meeting, Good fellowship, Good food
Because of the Peachtree Santa sponsored Covid-19 vaccination event, our members voted to have our first in-person meeting since 2019! On April 24, 2021, over a year after on line meetings only, many of our members met for fellowship, songs, raffles, up-dates & in-person comaraderie!
The next meeting of Peachtree Santas is scheduled for Saturday, May 22, 2021.
SANTAS GOT VACCINATED
On March 30 & 31, 2021 we partnered with local Public Health to bring a Covid-19 vaccination event to the Santa Community of Atlanta for the benefit of protecting our Santa Community members, friends and the children & families of all we visit with. The Johnson & Johnson one-shot Covid-19 vaccination was administered to all that wanted it!
Special thanks to Lisa Crossman, Deputy Director Cobb & Douglas Public Health, & nurses Sherrie Gary & Laurie Ross, who made this event possible for all of us! Thank you, & you're all on the Good List!
